I had a great experience working with Peter Mowry for a home inspection. He was detailed oriented, and also brought along lots of cool tools, including a thermal imaging camera! The thermal camera inspected the insulation in the ceiling which I very much appreciated, absolutely critical for Chicago winters.

Pete was awesome! Not only did he walk me through the entire home and explain everything, he also gave me future ideas to improve the home. I had a much older home inspected and he was very knowledgeable. I could not recommend their services enough!

Peter did a fantastic job on our home inspection, this was our first home. He was at the home even before we arrived, very thorough and didn't hesitate to answer our questions throughout the process. Everything that we spoke about had follow up pictures and descriptions in the report. The summary, repairs suggestions and provided suggested maintenance book for new home owners was all great as well. Peter's website is top-notch and shows the level of professionalism that you want in a home inspector. Don't bother shopping around, pay Peter and get peace of mind.

Truly a great experience. Peter came in and got straight to work, noticed all kinds of things I never would have thought of. He showed me both flaws and features of the condo, and explained what should be handled versus what can wait. At the end I got a large folder full of resources, and I was emailed a full inspection report with pictures (including thermal imaging) and descriptions of everything he noticed. Extremely thorough, very professional and personable, answered all my questions and more. This was my first home inspection experience and I couldn't recommend him enough.

Blue Guardian Home Inspections brought us the support and the clarity that we needed. From the online scheduling to the detailed report, the whole process was seamless. Peter was very thorough with our inspection and checked everything from the roof to every corner of the house. After inspecting the house, he took the time to walk us through some of his findings and answered any questions that we had. His suggestions for maintaining the property in the future was extremely helpful. We also appreciate the fact that each area of concern has detailed pictures and explanations, along with contact information for a professional for necessary repairs.

Peter did a great job performing an inspection on a home I am purchasing. He was 30 minutes early and very thorough in his checks. He waited patiently until we were done talking with other contractors so that we could go through everything from his report in detail. His report even had good information like what repairs were needed and what type of contractor to look for to do the repairs. It also had sections outlining homeowner maintenance responsibilities and tips. His attitude was great and he wasn’t pushy with trying to upsell on anything. I would hire him again in the future.
